Admission Details
The application portal is open for foreign nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards. The application window closes at 4 p.m. on March 30, 2026.
Applicants must provide a statement of English proficiency. They also need to list two referees who will submit recommendation letters. These referees will assess a candidate’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, and English language skills.
Eligibility and Testing
Candidates may need to submit scores from standardized tests. Accepted tests include Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or DST INSPIRE. International test scores like GRE and GMAT are also considered.
English language proficiency is mandatory. Applicants must submit scores from tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, or Cambridge English Examination.
Selection Process
Admission decisions will be based on interview performance. Students with strong academic records will be invited for interviews. These interviews will be conducted by a faculty committee from the relevant academic discipline. The committee will evaluate candidates’ overall suitability for the program.
