IIM Mumbai Placements 2026: Highest Package ₹71.4 Lakh

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai concluded its final placement drive for the MBA Batch of 2024-26. The process resulted in a highest domestic salary package of ₹71.4 lakh per annum . The institute reported strong recruitment across consulting, technology, finance, FMCG, and logistics sectors.

Placement Overview

A total of 505 students participated in the placement drive. Of these, 502 job offers were extended. Three students chose not to participate to pursue entrepreneurial goals.

Sector-wise Recruitment

Consulting Sector Leads

The consulting sector secured the highest number of offers. Firms like Accenture and other strategy and advisory companies were key recruiters. This trend indicates a growing demand for graduates in management advisory and business strategy roles.

Finance, Tech, and FMCG Engagement

The finance sector saw significant activity. Goldman Sachs was among the companies recruiting for roles in investment banking, risk management, and corporate finance.

In technology and e-commerce, Amazon offered positions in operations, analytics, and product management. This reflects the increasing importance of digital skills in business.

The FMCG and consumer goods sector also remained a major recruiting ground. Companies like PepsiCo hired for marketing, supply chain, sales, and general management roles.

Logistics and Operations Growth

The logistics and manufacturing sectors showed steady growth in hiring. This aligns with IIM Mumbai’s established strength in operations and supply chain management.

Recruiter Participation

Approximately 200 recruiters from diverse industries participated in the placement process. This broad engagement highlights continued industry confidence in IIM Mumbai graduates, even amidst changing market conditions. The successful placement season reinforces the institute’s position among India’s top management institutions.
