IIM Calcutta has partnered with the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) India. They will offer a new executive education program in chartered financial planning. The agreement was signed on Thursday in Mumbai.
New Financial Planning Program Launched
The program combines IIM Calcutta’s academic strength with FPSB’s global expertise. It aims to train professionals in financial planning. This initiative marks a step to enhance specialized financial education in India.
Program Details and Signatories
The pact was finalized in Mumbai. IIM Calcutta Director Prof. Alok Kumar Rai signed the agreement. Dante De Gori, Global CEO of FPSB, was present. Prof. P Rajesh Babu, Dean of Executive Education at IIM Calcutta, also attended the signing ceremony.
Prof. Rai announced the partnership on X, formerly Twitter. He stated, “Signed MoU with FPSB India, a subsidiary of FPSB USA in the presence of Mr Dante De Gori, Global CEO in Mumbai today for starting up of Executive Education of Chartered Financial Planning programme at @IIM_Calcutta Dean Executive Education Prof. P Rajesh Babu was also present.”
