Biometric Verification Process
Before the result declaration, BSEH published a district-wise biometric verification list. This list is accessible on the official website. It included candidate registration numbers, roll numbers, examination levels, names, father’s names, and mother’s names.
Candidates named on this list completed a mandatory biometric verification. This process occurred at designated centers on August 25 and 26 . The verification compared candidates’ IRIS database (biometric profile) data.
Verification Rules and Fees
- Candidates received three opportunities for biometric verification.
- A fee of Rs 10,000 applied to candidates who reported for verification after missing all three prescribed chances.
- Verification remained mandatory for result processing.
Examination Details and Validity
The HTET 2025 computer-based test took place on July 30 and 31 . The exam dates were subject to multiple postponements. Initially, the test was scheduled for December 7 and 8 of the previous year. HTET occurs annually.
The examination covers three distinct levels:
- Primary Teacher (PRT): For teaching Classes 1 to 5.
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): For teaching Classes 6 to 8.
- Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): For teaching higher classes.
The HTET certificate holds lifetime validity. The Board will preserve all HTET records, including OMR sheets, for four months from the result declaration date.
