HTET 2025: Aadhaar Not Mandatory, Apply by Jan 4, Exams Jan 17-18

The Haryana Board of School Education (BSEH) confirms Aadhaar is not mandatory for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2025 registration. Candidates must complete their applications by January 4, 2026 . A two-day correction window is available on January 4 and 5, 2026 . The HTET 2025 examination will occur on January 17 and 18, 2026 .

BSEH Secretary Munish Sharma, IAS, clarified the Aadhaar requirement. Sharma stated the Supreme Court has not mandated Aadhaar for examinations. The court allows Aadhaar as a valid identification form. It does not require it for test applications.

The application correction window allows specific updates. Candidates can edit their photo, signature, and thumb impression. They can also adjust their selected level and subject for Levels 2 and 3. Category, disability status, and home state information are also editable during this period.

HTET 2025 exams will be conducted offline. Candidates will take the test in pen-and-paper mode on the scheduled dates.
