The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has opened online registration for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2026). Science stream students can now apply for admission to engineering and pharmacy courses. The GUJCET 2026 examination is scheduled for March 29 , running from 10 am to 4 pm. Eligibility and Exam Details
Students who have completed their HSC science stream are eligible for GUJCET 2026. Applicants must select one of three groups: Group A for engineering, Group B for pharmacy, or Group AB for both. The GSEB confirmed that the entrance examination will cover the NCERT Class 12 science stream syllabus.
The GUJCET 2026 exam will take place at designated district-level centers across the state. In the previous year, 1,29,706 candidates registered for the GUJCET examination.
GUJCET 2026 Application Process
The application procedure consists of four mandatory steps: initial registration, candidate login, fee payment, and final application form submission. Each step must be completed accurately to ensure a successful application.
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official GUJCET website:
gseb.orgorgujcet.gseb.org. - Click on the ‘new registration’ link.
- Enter the student’s full name. Provide the parent’s or guardian’s name in the specified column. Students from other state boards must ensure their name matches their Class 12 marksheet.
- Select the appropriate gender.
- Input a valid 10-digit mobile number and a working email address.
- Create an 8-digit password. This password must include at least one capital letter, one small letter, one number, and one special character for security.
Step 2: Login
- After completing registration, return to the main page of the website.
- Log in using the registered mobile number, the newly created password, and the displayed captcha code.
- If a password is forgotten, click the ‘Forgot password’ option to retrieve details on the registered mobile number.
Step 3: Fee Payment
- A non-refundable GUJCET exam fee of Rs 350 is required.
- Payment is processed through the SBIePay system. Options include credit card, debit card, or net banking.
- Candidates can also choose the “SBI Branch Payment” option within SBIePay. This generates a payment slip for cash payment at any State Bank of India branch nationwide.
- The option to fill the application form will activate only after the successful payment of fees.
Step 4: Filling the Application Form
- Applicants must enter personal information accurately. This includes name, parent’s name, date of birth, gender, details of any disability, caste, current address, and other required personal and academic specifics.
- Students from the Gujarat Board must select or fill in the Board-code ’01’. Candidates from other boards must refer to the provided information booklet for their specific board code.
- Upload a passport-size photograph and signature. Both images must be in JPG format. Each file size cannot exceed 50 KB . The required dimensions are 120 Px X 120 Px .
