NEW DELHI – The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the edit window for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2025 applications. Registered candidates can modify their application forms on the official website, natboard.edu.in, until December 11 .
This initial edit facility allows applicants to correct various details submitted during registration. The FMGE December 2025 screening test is scheduled for January 17, 2026 . Admit cards will be available for download from January 14, 2026 .
Application Edit Windows
The first edit window is currently active. Candidates must use their user ID and password to access the facility on the NBEMS portal. This window closes on December 11 .
Permitted Changes (Initial Window)
Candidates can update most fields in their application form. However, some core details remain locked. The NBEMS notification states that the following information cannot be changed:
- Name
- Nationality
- Email ID
- Mobile Number
- Test City
All other details are open for correction during this period.
Final Selective Edit Window
A second, more specific edit window will open later for critical image-based corrections. This final selective edit window will be active from December 29 to December 31 . During this time, candidates can upload or correct their:
- Photograph
- Image of Signature
- Thumb Impression
Document Submission and Correction
Beyond the application form itself, candidates have an extended period to update specific required documents. The portal will allow changes to these documents until January 2, 2026 , as per the information bulletin.
Permissible Documents for Change
The following documents can be updated or submitted during this period:
- Primary Medical Qualification Certification (PMQC)
- Apostille
- Attesting of PMQC by concerned Indian embassy
- Eligibility Certificate or Admission Letter
- Proof of Citizenship
About the FMGE December 2025 Examination
The FMGE is a mandatory screening test for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) holding a medical qualification from a foreign university. Successfully passing this examination is required to obtain a certificate of practice from the Medical Council of India (MCI) and become eligible to practice medicine within India.
Examination Schedule and Key Dates
The NBEMS will conduct the FMGE 2025 December session on January 17, 2026 . The screening test will run in a single shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM .
Candidates can download their test city information starting January 2, 2026 . The official admit cards will be released on January 14, 2026 .
The results for the FMGE December 2025 examination are scheduled for announcement on February 17, 2026 .
