DU Law Launches Project Saksham 4.0 for Legal Literacy

Delhi University’s Faculty of Law has launched Project Saksham 4.0 , a nationwide initiative. The project aims to promote legal literacy and awareness across India. It focuses on building a powerful network to ensure access to justice.

Project Saksham 4.0: Goals and Scope

The fourth edition of Project Saksham targets significant expansion. It plans to operate across 11 states and over 33 cities . The initiative intends to train more than 2,500 volunteers . This information comes from an official statement by Delhi University.

Project activities include conducting nationwide camps, workshops, and public awareness programs. It will also establish community-based legal assistance services. These efforts aim to prevent individuals from being denied justice due to economic or social issues.

Previous Editions and Future Plans

The university highlighted the success of the previous edition, Saksham 3.0. That initiative involved approximately 1,500 volunteers . These volunteers collaborated across 6 states and 8 cities . Law students from over 24 universities participated in Saksham 3.0.

Project Saksham 4.0 aims to increase its reach and impact. The organization will soon release a list of participating states and cities. It invites educational, social, and legal institutions to join this national mission. This initiative strengthens access to justice across the country.
