The University of Delhi (DU) will host a job and internship drive on March 20 . The event targets both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The Central Placement Cell (CPC) is organizing the initiative. It aims to connect students with potential employers and organizations offering internships.
Job Drive Details
The drive, named “Job Mela: Internship and Placement,” will feature companies from diverse sectors. These include corporate firms, startups, non-profits, consultancies, research institutions, and public sector undertakings. The event seeks to foster industry-academia connections. It also aims to provide students with quality work experience and job prospects.
Registration Information
Students interested in participating must register by March 15 . Registration is available through the official link: forms.gle/3sZuwvbY8M2eMUiQ9. The Central Placement Cell encourages widespread student and organizational participation.
Past Participation
Last year, the Officer of Dean Students’ Welfare at DU organized a similar job mela. That event saw participation from 61 companies. Forty-seven companies attended offline, and 14 participated online. Over 500 students registered for the previous mela.
The Job Mela 2025 resulted in job offers and internships. Twenty companies offered placements. Ten companies extended internship offers.
Companies that participated in the 2025 event included Muthoot Finance, AXIS IIT/NEET, Bajaj Capital, PCI India, Stubborn Factory, and Bajaj Allianz.
