Delhi University Hosts ‘Bhajan Clubbing’ Events Feb 10-19

Delhi University colleges will host ‘Bhajan Clubbing’ events from February 10 to 19. The Delhi government is organizing these programs as part of ‘Vasantotsav 2026’ celebrations. The events aim to introduce devotional music to students through contemporary formats.

Event Details

Art, Culture, Language and Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra stated the initiative connects youth with Indian traditions. He described the events as youth-focused. These programs blend devotion with modern music. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also spoken about cultural traditions in ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

Performance Schedule

The ‘Bhajan Clubbing’ series begins February 10 at Ramjas College. The Leela Band will perform. Raghav Raja will perform on February 11 at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College. ARSD College will host India Music Collective on February 12. Sadho Band performs at Shaheed Sukhdev College the same day.

Rahasya Band performs at Shyam Lal College on February 13. Keshavam will present devotional hymns at PGDAV College. A larger Keshavam event is scheduled for February 16 at the University Stadium. The series concludes February 19. SAM Band performs at Shivaji College to end the event.

Minister Mishra said the initiative encourages student engagement with cultural roots. It presents traditions in a contemporary style.
