The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test – Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026 from March 6 to March 27. The exam will be administered in computer-based test (CBT) mode across three daily shifts.
Shift 1 is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Shift 2 will run from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. Shift 3 is set for 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. A total of 44 shifts will be utilized over the examination period.
The CUET PG 2026 examination covers 157 subjects . The NTA reported 411,366 unique candidates registered for the test.
Exam Language Details
Question papers will be available in both English and Hindi for most subjects. However, specific papers have language restrictions.
- 41 language papers will be offered in their respective languages.
- MTech and Higher Sciences papers will be exclusively in English .
- Acharya papers will be in Sanskrit only . Exceptions are Indian Knowledge System and Bauddha Darshana, which will be trilingual (Hindi, Sanskrit, and English).
- Hindu Studies will be offered in Hindi and English .

The NTA will release the CUET PG 2026 city intimation slip on February 26 . This notice provides candidates with their assigned exam city 10 days before the exam. Candidates can access this slip on the official NTA CUET PG website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG.
CUET PG 2026 Exam Schedule Overview
The examination will be held for 157 subjects across 44 shifts. The specific timing for each subject will be detailed in a separate schedule to be released by the NTA.
Note: Delhi University admissions for 2026 will mandate CUET PG scores. This applies to one-year courses for Delhi University’s Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) holders.
