The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the provisional answer key and response sheets for the CTET February 2026 exam. Candidates can access these documents on the official website, ctet.nic.in. The exam was held on February 7 and 8.
Answer Key Release and Objections
The provisional answer key will be available for download using application numbers and passwords. The CBSE will also open a window for candidates to challenge the provisional answer key. This objection facility will remain open for two to three days. Candidates can submit objections by paying a fee of Rs 1,000 per question.
Exam Details
The CTET 2026 exam took place in two shifts. The forenoon session ran from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The afternoon session occurred from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. A re-examination was conducted for two centers on March 1.

Candidates can follow these steps to download the provisional answer key:
- Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.
- Locate and click on the link for “CTET Answer Key 2026.”
- A new window will open.
- Enter your login credentials: application number and password.
- Click the submit button.
- The CTET 2026 answer key will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and print the key for future reference.
Next Steps
Following the objection period, the CBSE will review challenges and release the final answer key. The exact date for the final answer key and results is yet to be announced but is expected soon after the objection window closes. Cut-off marks will also be released with the results.
