To access the provisional answer key, candidates need their application number and date of birth. The CBSE will provide a specific window for candidates to submit objections to the provisional answer key.
Challenges can be submitted on the CTET website. A fee of Rs 1,000 is required per challenge. This fee will be refunded if the raised objection is found valid by the board.
The final answer key will be published after reviewing all submitted objections. This key will form the basis for calculating final results.
CTET 2026 Exam Details
The CTET 2026 exam was conducted for individuals seeking teaching positions in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, central government schools, and private schools. It covers teaching from Classes 1 to 8.
The examination took place from February 7 to February 8, 2026 . Paper 1 is for Classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for Classes 6 to 8.
Exam sessions were held twice daily. The forenoon shift ran from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The afternoon shift was scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Marking Scheme
The CTET 2026 follows a clear marking system. Each correct answer earns one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers on the exam.
