Heads from over 2,000 schools affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will meet in Chandigarh for a two-day conference starting Thursday . The gathering aims to discuss current education trends and develop a future action plan, according to CISCE officials.
The conference will address how schools can adapt to modern educational landscapes. Discussions will cover new pedagogical methods, technology integration in classrooms, and strategies to prepare students for evolving academic and professional environments. The event is officially named the 68th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Conference of the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate. This national conference serves as a platform for education leaders to collaborate on strategies for Indian schooling.
Key Speakers and Dignitaries
Ashok Mittal , a Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha and a recognized educationist, will deliver the conference’s inaugural address on Thursday . On Friday , Justice Vikramjit Sen will serve as the chief guest. Justice Sen is a former Supreme Court judge and previously served as the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, a senior CISCE official confirmed.
Addressing Education Standards
Over the two days, participants will engage in a series of thematic discussions, detailed presentations, and structured consultations. These sessions are designed to enhance academic standards across all CISCE-affiliated institutions.
