Exam Cancellation Details
CISCE consulted with educational authorities and diplomatic representatives before making the cancellation. This includes discussions with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai and the Consulate General of India in Dubai. The board had previously announced a postponement of these exams in the UAE from March 2 to April 6, 2026. This postponement has now been changed to a full cancellation.
Alternative Assessment Plan
With the exams cancelled, CISCE will implement an alternative assessment method for affected students. The specifics of this assessment are expected to be released by board officials soon. Reports suggest the council may follow a model similar to the one used during the COVID-19 pandemic.
