Chhattisgarh NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Results Out: Allotment & Reporting Dates

RAIPUR – The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur, has released the Chhattisgarh NEET PG 2025 counselling Round 2 seat allotment results. Candidates can access these results on the official website, cgdme.in . This announcement determines admissions for postgraduate medical programs in Chhattisgarh’s government and private medical colleges.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Postgraduate is a national-level examination. It serves as the single entrance examination for admission to MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), and PG diploma courses across India. The Chhattisgarh counselling process uses these scores to fill state quota seats.

Seat Allotment and Counselling Process

This second round of seat allotment is part of a multi-stage counselling process. It aims to fill a total of 499 postgraduate medical seats. These seats cover various medical specializations available across state institutions. Candidates receive allotment based on their NEET PG scores, category, and preferences submitted during the application phase.

The counselling procedure ensures a structured and transparent method for distributing limited medical seats. Successful completion of each round leads candidates closer to securing their desired medical specialization. Round 2 provides an opportunity for candidates who did not secure a seat in the first round, or wished for an upgrade, to be allocated a position.

Mandatory Reporting Period

Candidates who have secured a seat in Round 2 must complete the physical reporting process at their allotted institution. The deadline for reporting is from January 8 to January 13 . Timely reporting is mandatory to confirm admission.

During this period, candidates must present all required original documents for verification. Colleges will confirm eligibility and authenticity of submitted information. Failure to report within the specified dates or provide complete documentation will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat. This action opens the seat for subsequent counselling rounds or institutional admission processes.

NEET PG 2025 Cut-Offs Explained

Eligibility for NEET PG counselling relies on candidates meeting specific minimum qualifying criteria. These cut-offs are applied to candidates’ NEET PG scores out of 800. Different categories have varying minimum percentiles and scores, ensuring fair representation.

Category Minimum Qualifying Percentile Cut-off Scores (out of 800)
General/EWS 50th percentile 276
General-PwBD 45th percentile 255
SC/ST/OBC (Including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC) 40th percentile 235

These scores represent the lowest marks required for a candidate in each category to be considered eligible for the counselling process. Candidates scoring below their respective category’s cut-off are not eligible for seat allotment.
