A total of 875 candidates qualified for NEET PG 2025. These candidates met eligibility criteria and appear on the Chhattisgarh NEET PG merit list for Round 1. Additionally, 29 in-service candidates received bonus marks based on their years of experience.
An official notice confirmed the delay. It stated the allocation for Medical Postgraduate (MD/MS) courses for the 2025 academic year in Chhattisgarh is postponed. The Commissionerate will announce the new result publication date on the counselling portal soon.
Counselling and Security Deposit Fees
Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in the NEET PG 2025 examination must pay a one-time security deposit and an application fee.
Unreserved (UR) category candidates pay an application fee of INR 1,000 for government and private medical seats. For NRI quota seats, the application fee is INR 10,000 . UR candidates also pay a security deposit of INR 2,00,000 .
Reserved category candidates pay an application fee of INR 12,500 to apply for government medical colleges. The official notification does not specify a security deposit amount for reserved category candidates.
The security deposit is forfeited under specific conditions. It is lost if candidates do not accept an allotted seat in the second round of counselling. The fee is also forfeited if candidates take admission but later leave the seat.
