RAIPUR – The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam) has released its official examination calendar for 2026. The calendar, available on vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in , outlines tentative dates for various state-level entrance and recruitment exams from April to December 2026.
Key entrance exams, the Pre-Polytechnic Test (CG PPT) and Pre-Engineering Test (CG PET), are set for May 7 and May 14, 2026 , respectively. This early release allows candidates to plan their preparation for the upcoming year’s assessments.

CG PET 2026: Pre-Engineering Test Overview
The CG PET facilitates admission to engineering and technical courses. The application form for CG PET 2026 is expected for release in March 2026 . Admit cards will be issued a few days prior to the examination date.
The exam is conducted offline, using a pen-and-paper format. It comprises 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates receive 1 mark for each correct response. There is no negative marking.
CG PPT 2026: Pre-Polytechnic Test Information
The CG PPT is intended for diploma aspirants in Chhattisgarh. CG Vyapam will release the application form for CG PPT 2026 in March 2026 on its official website. The examination will also be held offline.
The test duration is three hours. The CG PPT exam contains 150 questions.
