GD Goenka High School Sohna: Affiliation Suspended

CBSE suspended GD Goenka High School’s affiliation for the 2026-27 academic year . The board identified multiple violations of its bylaws. The school cannot admit new students to classes 9 and 11 for the upcoming session.

Students currently enrolled in classes 9 through 12 may continue their studies. This is conditional on the school meeting stringent safety compliance. The decision followed a review of the school’s response dated September 29, 2025 , and an inspection committee’s observations.

Neeraj Modi School Jaipur: Affiliation Withdrawn

The CBSE immediately withdrew Neeraj Modi School’s affiliation up to the senior secondary level. This action came after the board found violations of affiliation bylaws and child safety lapses. A Class 4 student died in November 2025 after falling from the school’s fourth floor, reportedly citing mental harassment.

A two-member committee investigated safety provisions at the school. The committee conducted a surprise inspection on November 3 . Investigators reviewed CCTV footage and existing safety measures. Their report concluded the school had serious lapses and violated prescribed safety provisions.
