The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened registration for 14,967 teaching and non-teaching positions in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS). Applicants must submit forms by December 4 .
CBSE released full details, including eligibility criteria, pay scales, age limits, and the selection process for various posts. These positions include Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Primary Teachers (PRTs), and other administrative roles.
Application Fees
Candidates must pay an examination fee and a processing fee during online application. The examination fee varies by post, while a processing fee of Rs 500 applies to all applicants.
Applicants from SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and ex-servicemen categories are exempt from the examination fee. They must still pay the Rs 500 processing fee.

Examination Scheme
The selection process involves a two-tier examination. Tier 1 is a preliminary exam conducted in OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) mode. All papers, except for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), will have a duration of two hours .

Selection Process Details
For several key positions, an exam is followed by an interview. The merit list for these posts will be determined by giving 85% weightage to exam marks and 15% weightage to interview performance . The interview will be for 100 marks. Posts requiring an interview include:

- TGT including Librarian (KVS & NVS)
- PRT (KVS)

- Junior Translator (KVS)
Stenographer and Junior Secretariat Assistant posts will undergo a two-tier exam followed by a skill test. Merit lists for these roles depend on Tier-2 marks, subject to qualifying the skill test.
For Assistant Section Officer (KVS), Senior Secretariat Assistant (KVS), Lab Attendant (NVS), and Multi-Tasking Staff (NVS), the merit list will be based solely on Tier-2 exam marks.
