CBSE Class 12 Geography Exam Tomorrow: Key Details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 12 Geography exam on February 26 . The examination starts at 10:30 am and concludes at 1:30 pm. Students must arrive at their centers by 9:30 am. A 15-minute reading period is allocated from 10:15 am to 10:30 am. No entry will be permitted after 10:00 am.

Exam Details

The Class 12 Geography paper is worth a total of 100 marks. This includes a 70-mark theory component and a 30-mark practical or project assessment. To pass the CBSE Class 12 exams, students need a minimum of 33 percent in each subject. This applies to theory, practical, and internal assessment. Students must also achieve a Grade D and pass theory and practical sections separately in subjects with practical components.

Exam Day Instructions

Students should arrive at the examination center at least 30 to 45 minutes before the reporting time. Bringing the CBSE-issued admit card is mandatory. Without a valid admit card, students will not be allowed to take the exam. The question paper and answer booklet will be distributed 15 minutes before the exam begins. During the reading time, students should review questions and fill in necessary details on the answer sheet.
