CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Answer Key 2026 & Analysis

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 12 Chemistry Exam 2026 on February 28, 2026 . The exam took place from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM nationwide.

Unofficial Answer Key Released

Following the exam’s conclusion, unofficial answer keys for the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry paper became available. These keys allow students to estimate their potential scores. They are intended for reference only.

Exam Structure and Passing Criteria

The question paper consists of five sections: A through E. It contains a total of 33 questions. This year’s paper emphasizes competency-based questions. These now form 50% of the exam. This includes case-based and assertion-reason questions.
