The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 board exams for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Applications, and Information Technology (IT) concluded today. Students reported the papers were generally easy to moderate in difficulty. The exams took place from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Exam Analysis
Educators described the AI paper as thoughtfully designed. Questions on topics like Bag of Words and Confusion Matrix were considered straightforward and offered good marks. Multiple-choice questions focused on practical application, promoting understanding over memorization.
Pratheesh Kumar, an AI educator at JAIN International Residential School, noted the AI paper balanced theory, employability skills, and analytical thinking. He stated that well-prepared students could finish within the allotted time. The exam emphasized conceptual clarity and practical knowledge application.
Shilpi Arora, HOD Computer Science at Global Indian International School, Noida, found the IT paper student-friendly. She described it as well-balanced with competency-based questions. Most objective and subjective questions were direct and situation-based.
Arora added that short and long-answer questions tested conceptual clarity. She noted that rigorous practice and sample papers helped students tackle tricky questions. Students expressed satisfaction with the exam’s performance, rating the overall difficulty as moderate and scoring.
Nimish Srivastava, HOD of IT at Witty International School, Bhilwara, echoed this sentiment. He stated the IT paper fell within the easy to moderate range. The focus was on conceptual clarity and application, not rote learning.
Paper Structure
Section A of the IT paper covered key areas like Employability Skills, LibreOffice Writer, Calc, DBMS basics, and Workplace Safety. Section B assessed descriptive and practical understanding. Topics included communication skills, emotional intelligence, ICT tools, and database concepts.
