CAT 2025 Results: MBA Wallah Students Achieve 99th Percentile

NEW DELHI – More than 30 students from MBA Wallah, the management exam preparation division of PhysicsWallah (PW), achieved 99th percentile and above in the recent Common Admission Test (CAT) exam. The results underscore the competitive nature of India’s premier management entrance examination.

Three students led the top scores from MBA Wallah. Neal Shah secured 99.93 percentiles. Konda Jayant Reddy achieved 99.84 percentiles, and Aditya Agrawal scored 99.8 percentiles in the examination.

Understanding the CAT Exam

The Common Admission Test (CAT) serves as the gateway for admission into postgraduate management programs, including Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses, offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top business schools across India. Thousands of candidates take the exam annually. A 99th percentile score means a student performed better than 99% of all test-takers, placing them in the top 1% nationally.

Company Attributions and Student Experiences

An official press release from PhysicsWallah stated the results reflect student effort. The company attributed success to structured preparation support and focused mentorship provided by MBA Wallah.

Neal Shah, one of the top scorers, shared his preparation journey. He began considering an MBA while attending VIT Chennai. Shah stated he found Quantitative Aptitude challenging alongside his college workload. “MBA Wallah’s flexible online setup helped me stay consistent,” Shah said. He added that clearing doubts and revising concepts “made a real difference” in his performance.

Another high-achieving student, Konda Jayant Reddy, initially prepared for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Reddy later decided to attempt the CAT to keep his options open. He subsequently enrolled in a structured plan with MBA Wallah. “The platform provided a structured preparation plan, which brought more clarity and discipline to my studies,” Reddy stated. He also noted that practice helped him improve his scores in the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) sections.

Leadership Perspective and Future Support

Atul Kumar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PhysicsWallah, commented on the results. Kumar emphasized the company’s focus on providing consistent guidance throughout student preparation. “These outcomes reflect the discipline and resilience of our students, along with the commitment of teachers,” Kumar said. He added that the broader goal involves helping students “remain calm, think clearly, and make thoughtful decisions in high-pressure situations.”

MBA Wallah announced its continued support for aspirants beyond the exam results. This support includes guidance for interviews and assistance with academic and career decisions. The company also issued a disclaimer, noting that the CAT exam is highly competitive. It stated that results may vary and that it does not guarantee specific ranks or percentiles to its students.
