Slot 2 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Slot 3 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Required Documents for Entry

All candidates must bring two essential documents to the test center. Failure to produce these items will result in denied entry to the examination hall.

  • CAT 2025 Admit Card: Download the admit card from the official website, iimcat.ac.in. Candidates must print a clear copy.
  • Original Photo Identity Proof: Acceptable proofs include an Aadhar card, PAN card, driving license, passport, or college ID. The name on the ID must match the name on the admit card exactly.

CAT Exam Day Guidelines: Do’s and Don’ts

IIM Kozhikode has issued specific instructions for candidates to ensure a smooth and fair examination process. Adherence to these rules prevents disqualification and other penalties.

Exam Day Do’s

  • Arrive Early: Reach the examination center at least one hour before the scheduled exam start time. This allows for security checks and avoids last-minute complications.
  • Check Details: Verify the exam time and venue details against the admit card before leaving home.
  • Dress Code: Wear simple, comfortable clothing. Avoid garments with large buttons, metallic objects, or extensive embroidery. Following a basic dress code reduces scrutiny during frisking.
  • Time Management: Monitor the on-screen timer during the exam. Focus on accuracy over attempting every question. Allocate time effectively across sections.

Exam Day Don’ts

  • Forbidden Items: Do not carry electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or digital pens. Study materials, papers, or any communication devices are also prohibited. Possession of barred items will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Cheating: Do not engage in any form of cheating, communication with other candidates, or copying answers. Such actions result in disqualification from CAT 2025 and may bar future participation in CAT exams.
  • Early Exit: Candidates cannot leave the examination hall before the scheduled end time of their slot. Remain seated until the invigilator formally declares the exam concluded and permits departure.
  • Computer Tampering: Do not tamper with the computer settings or use the keyboard unnecessarily. Unauthorized actions may trigger system warnings or locks, potentially affecting exam progress.
  • Rough Paper Submission: Submit all rough papers provided at the center to the invigilator after completing the exam. Failure to submit rough papers constitutes a violation of exam ethics and may lead to serious repercussions.

Candidates must familiarize themselves with these guidelines thoroughly. Compliance ensures a valid attempt at the CAT 2025 examination.
