Bihar aims to create one crore jobs and employment opportunities by 2030 . Governor Arif Mohammed Khan announced this target on Monday during the state legislature’s budget session address. The Nitish Kumar government is committed to this goal. The administration has already provided jobs and employment to 50 lakh youths.

The Bihar government’s top priorities include maintaining the rule of law and communal harmony. This focus supports the administration’s motto of “development with justice.” The government stated it is working to achieve both goals simultaneously.
Law and Order Measures
To strengthen law and order, the state has increased its police force. The number of police personnel now stands at 1.21 lakh . The state also operates 10,380 police stations. Bihar reports the highest percentage of female police personnel in the country.
Women’s Empowerment
The government is actively working on women’s empowerment. The “Jeevika” self-help groups have enrolled 1.40 crore female volunteers. The “Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana” provides financial support for women entrepreneurs. Under this scheme, women receive Rs 10,000 crore for business startups. Those who use the funds effectively can receive up to Rs 2 lakh each.
Economic and Social Development
The governor also highlighted increased farmers’ income in Bihar. The government is investing in health and education. This includes establishing new schools, colleges, and hospitals across the state. These initiatives aim to foster overall development.
