Bihar Class 10 Board Exam 2026: Vocational Subjects End Tomorrow

The Bihar Class 10 board examination for vocational elective subjects concludes tomorrow, February 25, 2026. The Bihar School Examination Committee (BSEB) is conducting the final exam for subjects including security, beautician, and tourism. The exam is held in a single shift from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM.

Exam Schedule and Subjects

The matriculation examination began on February 17 and has proceeded over seven days. Today marked the seventh day, with exams for optional subjects held in two shifts. The first shift ran from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM. Subjects included higher Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, Persian, Sanskrit, Arabic, and Maithili.

The second shift for optional subjects occurred from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Additionally, exams for fine arts, home science, dance, and music were conducted. These took place in the first shift from 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM, and the second shift from 2:00 PM to 4:45 PM.

Vocational Electives on Final Day

Tomorrow’s exams focus on professional vocational subjects. These are part of the Class 10 curriculum. The list of vocational electives includes electronics and hardware, beauty and wellness, and telecom and IT/IT trade. This marks the end of the BSEB Class 10 board examinations for 2026.

Passing Criteria

To pass the Bihar Class 10 board exam, students must achieve specific marks. A minimum of 30% in each subject is required. This translates to 30 marks out of a total of 100 for each subject. Furthermore, students need to secure an aggregate of 150 marks out of 500. This is also equivalent to 30% of the total aggregate marks.

Exam Centers

The examinations are being conducted across multiple districts. Patna, for instance, has 70 designated exam centers for the matriculation tests. The BSEB has implemented measures to ensure the smooth conduct of these assessments.
