Bihar Board Class 12 Exams 2026 Conclude; 71 Expelled

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Class 12 exams concluded across the state on February 13, 2026. A total of 1,317,846 students appeared for the annual intermediate examination held at 1,762 centers. The BSEB reported 71 expulsions and the apprehension of 14 impersonators during the exam period.

Exam Overview

The examinations, conducted across 20 districts, saw strict measures against malpractice. Patna district alone hosted 84 centers, accommodating 73,963 candidates. Of these, 38,037 were female and 35,926 were male students.

Examination Schedule and Subjects

The final day of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2026 featured examinations for various language subjects. These included Urdu, Maithili, Sanskrit, Prakrit, Magahi, Bhojpuri, Arabic, Persian, Pali, and Bangla. These were offered for students in Science, Commerce, and Arts faculties under the additional subject group.

The second shift on the final day covered subjects such as Computer Science and Multimedia & Web Technology. Exams for Yoga & Physical Education were also held. Additionally, subjects for vocational courses were administered. These included Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Agriculture, Business Study, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Home Science, Geography, Music, and Philosophy.

Student Participation

BSEB issued admit cards to 1,317,846 students. This figure comprised 675,844 female students and 642,002 male students.

The Class 12 exams ran from February 2 to February 13, 2026. The BSEB Class 10th exams are scheduled from February 17 to February 25, 2026. These exams will also be conducted in two shifts daily. The first shift is from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm. The second session runs from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
