The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) began the Class 12 exams on February 2, 2026 . Students are advised to arrive at their examination centres before the reporting time. They must carry their admit card and a valid photo ID.
Exam Schedule and Details
The exams run in two sessions daily. The first session starts at 9:30 AM . The second session begins at 2:00 PM . The BSEB Intermediate exams conclude on February 13, 2026 . A total of 1,317,846 students will take the exams. This includes 675,844 female candidates and 642,002 male candidates. The exams are held at 1,761 centres across Bihar.
Reporting and Exam Times
Students must adhere to specific reporting times for each session. Gates close 30 minutes before the exam begins.

Exam Day Guidelines
Several rules are in place for exam day. Students must arrive at the centre at least one hour early. The examination hall gates will close 30 minutes before the start time.
Entry is denied without a hall ticket and photo ID. Candidates cannot wear socks and shoes inside the hall. Footwear with thin soles is permitted, but thick-soled shoes are prohibited. Violators face expulsion for two years if they enter after gates close.
Electronic devices are banned. This includes mobile phones, earphones, smartwatches, and calculators. Students needing a scribe due to writing difficulties will receive 20 extra minutes per hour. Four model examination centres are set up in each district to ensure smooth conduct. A total of 152 model centres are established across the state’s 38 districts.
