Bhatkhande University Launches Musical Heritage Chair

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh — Bhatkhande University of Culture officially launched a new Chair dedicated to preserving India’s musical heritage. The university inaugurated the Chair on January 17 , during a special musical program. The event honored Padma Vibhushan awardee Vidushi Begum Akhtar.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the Kalamandapam auditorium. Padma Shri awardee and Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota performed at the event.

Chair’s Core Purpose
