The Assam Director of Medical Education has announced the final round of NEET PG counselling for vacant seats in government medical colleges and BBCI Guwahati. Registration opens February 20 on dme.assam.gov.in. This round aims to fill remaining postgraduate seats under the state quota for MD, MS, and diploma programs.
Candidates who took the NEET PG exam conducted by NBEMS and met the cut-off score are eligible. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare previously reduced the NEET PG cut-off to zero percentile from round three onwards.
Individuals who accepted seats in earlier rounds under All India Quota or state quota are ineligible for this final stray vacancy round. Following registration, candidates will engage in choice filling from February 21 until 5 pm. The choice locking window opens at 4 pm and closes at 11:55 pm on the same day.
The seat allotment results for this final round will be released on February 23. Admission details will also be announced at that time.
