The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has released hall tickets for the 2026 Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE). Over 10 lakh first and second-year students will appear for the exams starting February 23. Hall tickets are available for download on the official BIEAP website: bie.ap.gov.in.
Students can access their hall tickets by entering their roll number, date of birth, or full name. Alternatively, tickets can be collected from individual colleges. The examinations are scheduled to take place from February 23 to March 24, 2026.
The hall ticket is mandatory for exam entry. It contains essential details including the student’s name, subjects, exam dates, and medium of instruction. Failure to present the hall ticket will result in denial of entry to the examination hall.
Exam Statistics
A total of 10.57 lakh students are expected to sit for the 2026 AP Inter IPE exams. This includes approximately 5.31 lakh first-year students and 5.26 lakh second-year students.
Exam Pattern Changes
BIEAP has introduced several changes to the 2026 exam pattern. First-year students will receive a 32-page answer booklet, an increase from the previous 24 pages. All answers must be written within this booklet, as no additional sheets will be provided.
Subject combinations have been revised. Mathematics 1A and 1B are now merged into a single paper. Similarly, Botany and Zoology have been combined to form a single Biology paper. This reduces the total number of examinations for students.
The introduction of one-mark objective questions is a new feature in subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. This change aims to enhance objective assessment methods.
The AP Inter syllabus has been updated to align with NCERT guidelines. This revision is intended to assist students in their preparation for national entrance examinations such as JEE and NEET.
The board has also modified the pass criteria and assessment methods. Internal and practical examinations will continue to be conducted alongside theory exams to ensure comprehensive student evaluation.

To download your AP Inter hall ticket:
- Visit the official website: bie.ap.gov.in .
- Locate and click on the link for “Theory Hall Tickets (First and Second Year) IPE February/ March 2026 Download”.
- Enter your required login credentials: roll number, date of birth or full name, and the security captcha.
- Click the “Download Hall Ticket” button.
- The hall ticket will download as a PDF. Print a copy for your records and exam day use.
