Andhra Pradesh will ban social media access for children under 13 within 90 days. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced the plan on Friday. The state government is considering extending the ban. This would include teenagers aged 13 to 16.

Naidu stated that implementation will ensure children below 13 cannot use social media platforms. The timeframe for this ban is 90 days. The government will decide on extending the restriction to older teenagers. This decision follows discussions within the assembly.
Tirupati Laddu Controversy
The Chief Minister also addressed the alleged adulteration of ghee used in Tirupati temple laddus. Naidu called it a deliberate conspiracy. He accused the previous YSRCP government. They allegedly used substandard ingredients. This desecrated a revered offering for devotees.
Political Criticism
Naidu criticized YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He stated Reddy showed no remorse. Naidu emphasized respecting religious traditions. He noted a rise in religious tourism despite the controversy. Temple footfalls increased up to 70 percent.
