The Bar Council of India (BCI) has opened the application window for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 20 Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet rechecking. Candidates can apply online starting January 14 to verify their AIBE 20 result 2025. The application period closes on January 23, 2026 .
Interested candidates must visit the official website,allindiabarexamination.com, to submit their rechecking requests. A valid AIBE login, including their application number and password, is required to access the application form.
Application Process and Fees
A non-refundable fee of Rs 500 must be paid online for each AIBE 20 OMR sheet rechecking application. The BCI will not accept applications submitted through any other method, such as physical copies, or fees paid offline. Only online applications with digital fee payments will be processed.
Following verification, the AIBE 20 rechecking results will be sent directly to the candidates’ registered email IDs. Candidates should monitor their inboxes for updates regarding their rechecked OMR sheets.
AIBE 20 Overview
The AIBE 20 examination was conducted on November 30, 2025 . The results for AIBE 20 were officially announced on January 7, 2026 . According to the BCI, the overall pass percentage for AIBE 20 stood at 69.21% .
A total of 2,51,968 candidates appeared for the AIBE 20 exam. Out of these, 1,74,386 successfully cleared the examination. The OMR sheets of three candidates were not received by the BCI and were therefore excluded from the final count.
The AIBE 20 final answer key, released prior to the results, indicated the withdrawal of five questions from each set of the examination paper. This adjustment impacted the final scoring for candidates.
Upcoming AIBE 21 Schedule
The Bar Council of India has also announced the schedule for the next iteration of the examination, AIBE 21. The AIBE 21 exam is slated to be held on June 7, 2026 .
