Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption at workplaces significantly outpaces corporate training programs. A recent report reveals that 71% of professionals anticipate their job roles will change within the coming years as AI tools become standard.

The Genius HRTech and Digipoll report highlights a sharp gap between AI integration and employee training. Employees are preparing for rapidly evolving job responsibilities due to AI advancements.

The report is based on an online survey. It involved 1,704 professionals across various sectors. The survey took place in November 2025 .

One primary finding is the lack of adequate training. 61% of respondents stated their organization had not provided proper guidance on effective AI usage. Only 37% reported receiving sufficient training.

Perceptions of AI Adoption

This lack of structured support impacts employee perceptions of AI. 55% of professionals believe AI adoption is driven by necessity. Another 37% feel it is more trend-driven than need-based.

Impact on Job Roles

The report found a major shift in workforce expectations. 71% of respondents expect their roles or responsibilities to change significantly. These changes are anticipated within the next two to three years due to AI integration.

Many professionals already use AI. 67% of respondents have started using AI tools. They use AI to simplify or automate daily work tasks.

AI’s Effect on Work Processes

AI’s impact on work processes shows varied results. 69% of respondents reported that AI simplified their work. However, 25% felt AI added complexity to their tasks.

Trust in AI-Generated Insights

Trust in AI remains a considerable barrier. Only 49% of professionals trust AI-generated insights without manual cross-verification. 36% do not trust them at all. The remaining 15% argued that trust varies based on the specific task.
