ABBS Opens MBA Entrepreneurship Admissions 2026-27

Acharya Bangalore Business School (ABBS) has opened admissions for its MBA (Entrepreneurship) program for the 2026-27 academic year. The two-year program aims to equip students with the skills to develop and operate new businesses.

Program Details

The intake for the MBA (Entrepreneurship) program is capped at 60 students. Applications are now being accepted on the ABBS website, abbs.edu.in. This program targets individuals interested in starting and scaling new ventures, including aspiring founders and family business successors.

Curriculum Focus

Unlike standard MBA programs, ABBS integrates venture creation into each semester. Students will move through stages including idea validation, market research, prototype development, business registration, investor pitching, and managing an enterprise before graduation. The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning and exposure to the startup ecosystem.

Mentorship and Support

ABBS provides dedicated mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs. Students will also gain exposure to angel investors and venture capitalists. Institutional support covers legal, financial, and digital aspects of business development. This includes access to incubation networks, technology-enhanced learning with AI and digital tools, and assistance with compliance, funding, and digital strategy.

Program Objective

Ajitesh Basani, Executive Director at ABBS, stated the program focuses on building real ventures that solve actual problems. The goal is to produce graduates who become job creators, possessing both managerial knowledge and operational business experience.

The MBA (Entrepreneurship) program is supported by partnerships with organizations including KSCST, SIDBI, MSME, NSIC, FKCCI, K-Tech, TiE, and ENACTUS.
