The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final results for the Constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025. This announcement provides final selections for entry-level positions within India’s security and law enforcement agencies.

Candidates who participated in this comprehensive recruitment process can now check their results on the official SSC website,ssc.gov.in. The examination aims to induct personnel responsible for duties ranging from border security to maintaining internal law and order.

A total of 48,113 candidates have been provisionally recommended for appointment. This figure comprises 4,817 female candidates and 43,296 male candidates. Earlier, the SSC had notified a total of 53,690 vacancies for these posts across the various forces, indicating a significant recruitment drive.

Results Withheld and Debarment Actions

The final results for 2,003 candidates have been withheld. According to the Commission, these cases are currently under review due to ongoing court orders or suspected malpractices detected during the examination phases. Candidates whose results are withheld cannot proceed with the appointment process until their specific issues are fully resolved.

Furthermore, 345 candidates have faced debarment by the respective SSC Regional Offices. As a result, their examination results were not processed. Debarment is a serious consequence, permanently barring individuals from participating in any future examinations conducted by the Staff Selection Commission.

The Commission also confirmed that any vacancies remaining unfilled, either due to an insufficient number of eligible candidates or instances where selected candidates do not join, will be carried forward. These positions will be added to the next recruitment cycle by the concerned user departments.

Instructions for Selected Candidates

Provisionally selected candidates must remain vigilant regarding communication from their assigned force. Should a recommended candidate not receive any correspondence from their allocated force within six months of the final result declaration, they are instructed to directly contact that specific force for further guidance on their appointment process.

The Staff Selection Commission will subsequently upload the detailed individual marks of all candidates who appeared for the Constable (GD) Examination, 2025. This will be made available on the official website in due course, allowing candidates to review their performance metrics comprehensively.
