The average salary package for students was Rs 18.89 lakh per annum . The median package, the midpoint of all salaries, reached Rs 17.56 lakh per annum . Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) made up 25% of the total job offers.
Sector-Wise Recruitment
The Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector led recruitment. Companies in banking, finance, and insurance made 24% of all offers. BFSI secured its position as the largest recruiting sector.
Information Technology (IT) and IT Enabled Services (ITES) followed, accounting for 17% of placements. Consulting and Fast-Moving Goods and Enterprises (FMGE) sectors each recruited 12% of students.
Investment banking and Global Capacity Centres (GCCs) each contributed 8% of offers. E-commerce companies represented 5% of offers made during the drive.
Key Recruiters and Job Profiles
Leading companies from diverse industries participated. Financial firms like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo recruited. Consulting firms Deloitte and KPMG also hired.
Technology and e-commerce platforms Amazon, Flipkart, Accenture, and Adobe extended offers. Other recruiters included Nestlé, Asian Paints, HSBC, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and HDFC Ergo.
Students secured roles in strategy, consulting, product management, analytics, sales leadership, and finance. Specialised functional profiles were also offered.
