About This Scholarship
The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2025-26, offered by the Life Insurance Corporation of India, is a significant opportunity for students from economically weaker sections. Eligibility Criteria

Important Notes:
• Applications from candidates belonging to the low-income band will receive preference during the selection process.
• This scholarship is exclusively for students pursuing their first degree, such as undergraduate programs or their equivalent, including integrated courses. It is not applicable for students continuing their education through postgraduate studies.
• An annual income limit relaxation from ₹2,50,000 to ₹4,00,000 will be provided to families where a woman (e.g., widow, single mother, or unmarried) is the sole financial provider. This provision allows families with a woman as the only earning member to qualify for the scholarship even if their income is slightly above the standard limit.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the General Scholarship, an applicant must satisfy the following conditions:
• Have passed the Class 10 or 12 examination (or equivalent) during the academic year 2022-25 with a minimum of 60% marks (or an equivalent grade).
• Be pursuing higher education in their first year in fields such as graduation, vocational/diploma courses, or integrated courses. This must be in a government-recognised college/institution or a course offered in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).
• Possess an annual parent(s)/guardian(s) income of not more than ₹4,50,000 from all sources.

sub2_eligibility: To be eligible for the Special Scholarship for Girl Child, an applicant must fulfill these requirements:
• Have passed the Class 10 examination (or equivalent) in the academic year 2022-25 with at least 60% marks (or an equivalent grade).
