About This Scholarship
DTE Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna, Maharashtra 2025-26 is a significant initiative by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra. This scholarship aims to provide crucial financial assistance to students who are wards of registered labourers or marginal farmers, as well as students from families with an annual income of up to ₹8,00,000.
The scheme specifically supports students who have secured admission to professional and technical courses, including diploma, graduation, and postgraduate degrees, in government, government-funded, or non-affiliated colleges/polytechnics across Maharashtra.
Selected students can receive varying levels of financial aid for a period of ten months. For children of registered labour or marginal landholders, the assistance can be up to ₹30,000 for those studying in institutes located in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City, and ₹20,000 for those in other areas.
For students from families with an annual income up to ₹8,00,000, the support is ₹10,000 for institutes in major cities (MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City) and ₹8,000 for other regions.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:
• be a domicile of Maharashtra.
• be a child of registered labour or a child of Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder).
• be admitted to professional and technical courses, including diploma/graduation/postgraduation degree as mentioned in the Government Resolution (GR).
• hold a bonafide certificate from the respective institution.
• have secured a minimum of 50% attendance in the previous semester (except for those freshly admitted to college).
• have an annual family income of less than ₹8,00,000.

The following documents are required for the application:
• Domicile certificate.
• Registered labour certificate/alpabhudharak (Marginal land holder) certificate (if applicable).
• Income certificate (if applicable).
• CAP-related documents.
• Hosteller documents.
• Attendance certificate.
• Gap-related documents (if there are gaps in the academic history).
• Previous year marksheet.
• An undertaking stating that only two family members can avail of the scholarship benefit in the current year.
How to Apply
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:

Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha, and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password.
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit the application.
