Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Education Concession to the Children of Ex-Servicemen, Maharashtra 2025-26, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
• Be a domicile of Maharashtra.
• Be a child, wife, or widow of an ex-serviceman.
• Be pursuing studies in a government or government-aided college within the state of Maharashtra.
Important Note: Applicants who are domiciled in Maharashtra but are currently studying outside the state are not eligible to apply for this particular scheme.
Required Documents
Applicants are required to submit the following documents along with their scholarship application:
• Eligibility certificate issued by the Collector and the President of the DSSA Board.
• Admission receipt from the educational institution.
• Domicile certificate, verifying residency in Maharashtra.
• Caste certificate (if applicable).
• Marksheets and relevant academic certificates from previous qualifications.
• Transfer certificate or Leaving certificate (if applicable).
• Income certificate (if applicable).
• Disability certificate (if applicable).
How to Apply
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship by following these steps:
1. Access the Application Portal: Visit the official website and locate the 'Apply Now' button.
2. Registration:
Click on the 'Register' button and proceed to fill in the required registration details.
If you are an existing user, you can log in directly using your registered Gmail account, Mobile number, or Email ID.
3. New Applicant Registration:
Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button, typically situated on the right-hand side of the dashboard, and click on it.
4. Fill Registration Details:
Enter all necessary personal and contact details accurately.
Verify your email address and phone number as prompted.
Complete the captcha for security purposes.
Finally, click on the 'Register' button to complete the registration process.
5. Applicant Login:
After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button, usually found on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
6. Login:
Log in using the username and password that you created during the registration process.
7. Application Submission:
Proceed to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
Upload all the required supporting documents as specified.
Carefully review your entire application to ensure all information is correct and then click 'Submit' to finalize your application.
