Admission Details
Foreign nationals, including those with Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards, are eligible. Applications are for the 2026-27 academic year. The application portal is international.iitd.ac.in .
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a statement on English proficiency. They also need to provide names of two referees. Referees will comment on aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, and English skills.
IIT Delhi may require scores from tests like GATE, CSIR, UGC NET, or DST INSPIRE. International test scores such as GRE and GMAT are also accepted.
Proficiency in English language tests like TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge English is necessary. Applicants must submit these scores.
Selection Process
Admission is based on interview performance. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the relevant discipline.
