Admission Details
The application window closes on March 30, 2026, at 4 p.m. The programs are for the academic year 2026-27. Applications are open to non-Indian nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a statement or self-declaration of English proficiency. They also need to provide the names of two referees. These referees will be contacted for recommendation letters. The notification states referees will comment on aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, independent thinking, and English language skills.
Eligibility and Scores
While not always mandatory, scores from examinations like GATE, CSIR, UGC NET, or DST INSPIRE can support PhD and PG applications. International students may also submit scores from GRE or GMAT. English proficiency test scores are required. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, and Cambridge English exams.
Selection Process
Admission decisions will be based on interview performance. Candidates with strong academic records will receive an invitation for an interview. This interview will be conducted by a committee of faculty members from the relevant discipline.
