IIT Delhi PhD, PG Admissions for International Students Open

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has opened admissions for PhD and postgraduate (PG) programs . Applications are open to foreign national students for the 2026-27 academic year . The application deadline is March 30, 2026 , at 4 p.m. Interested candidates can apply online via the official IIT Delhi international admissions website at international.iitd.ac.in .

Eligibility extends to non-Indian nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards. Applicants must submit a self-declaration of English language proficiency.

Application Requirements

Candidates need to provide the names of two referees . These referees will submit recommendation letters. Referees will comment on the applicant’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, and English communication skills. This information is detailed in the official admission notification.

Submission of scores from specific entrance examinations may be required. Admission Process
