The institute is offering admission for the 2026-27 academic year . The application portal will close at 4 p.m. on March 30, 2026. This opportunity is for foreign nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a self-declaration of English language proficiency. They also need to provide the names of two referees. These referees will be asked to supply recommendation letters. The referees will comment on the candidate’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, independent thinking, and English skills. This information is part of the official notification.
Eligibility for PhD and PG programs may require scores from specific standardized tests. These include the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or DST INSPIRE. International exam scores like the Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) can also be submitted.
Candidates will undergo an interview process. Admission decisions are based on performance in this interview. Those with a strong academic background will be invited to meet with an interview committee. The committee will consist of faculty members from the relevant academic discipline.
Proof of English proficiency through tests like TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, or Cambridge English Examination is also required. Any other recognized language test may be accepted.
