MSIF McDonald Fellowship 2025

Scholarship Amount

GBP 30,000 annually for 2 years

About This Scholarship

The MSIF McDonald Fellowship 2025 is a prestigious opportunity offered by the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) for students pursuing M.Sc., Ph.D., and M.D. level studies in the vital field of multiple sclerosis. This fellowship is designed to empower early-career researchers from low-income countries, enabling them to conduct groundbreaking research at institutions outside their home country.

The fellowship provides substantial financial support, consisting of EUR 55,000 per year. This amount is paid directly to the host institution, which then disburses it to the fellow. Additionally, the fellowship covers the cost of one return flight to the host country, facilitating international collaboration and research. The grant is awarded for a two-year period, fostering sustained research efforts.

The application deadline for this esteemed fellowship is 1 December 2025.

Successful candidates will be selected by MSIF’s McDonald Fellowship panel. This panel comprises both leading scientists and individuals personally affected by Multiple Sclerosis, ensuring a comprehensive and empathetic evaluation process.
