Admission Eligibility and Process
Non-Indian citizens are eligible. This includes individuals with Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards. Applicants must submit a statement of English proficiency. They also need to provide names of two referees for recommendation letters. Referees will assess aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, and English skills.
Entrance exam scores may be required. These include GATE, CSIR, UGC NET, or DST INSPIRE for PhD and PG programs. International exam scores like GRE and GMAT are also considered.
Admission decisions will be based on interview performance. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited for an interview. The interview panel consists of faculty from the relevant discipline. English proficiency test scores are mandatory. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, and Cambridge English Examination.
