Admission Process Overview
Applicants must provide a self-declaration of English language proficiency. They also need to list two referees who can submit recommendation letters.

IIT Delhi may require scores from specific entrance examinations. Admission to the PhD and PG programs is based on performance in an interview. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited to this interview. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the relevant discipline.
Applicants must also submit scores from recognized English language proficiency tests. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, and Cambridge English Examination, among others.
