Admissions Overview
Foreign nationals, including those holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards, are eligible. Applications are for the academic years 2026-27 . The application deadline is March 30, 2026, at 4 PM IST .
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a statement of English proficiency. They also need to provide the names of two referees for recommendation letters. These referees will assess candidates’ aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, independent thinking, and English communication skills.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for PhD and PG programs requires specific test scores. These may include scores from the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or the DST INSPIRE program.
International examination scores are also accepted. These include Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).
Proof of English language proficiency is mandatory. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, or Cambridge English Examination.
Selection Process
Admission decisions are based on an interview. Candidates with strong academic records receive interview invitations. An interview committee of faculty members will conduct these interviews.
