About This Scholarship
The Free Books Scheme for SC Students, Haryana 2025-26 is an initiative by the Department of Welfare of Scheduled Caste & Backward Classes, Government of Haryana. This scheme aims to foster higher education among students from the Scheduled Caste (SC) community within the state.
Selected students will receive a significant financial aid package to support their studies. This includes an amount of ₹2,000 for the purchase of necessary books and a monthly stipend of ₹1,000.
Furthermore, SC students who avail hostel facilities are eligible for an additional stipend of ₹500 per month for 12 months. This extra support will be transferred through the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) by the Head Quarter in two half-yearly instalments, covering the periods from July to December and January to June.
The application deadline for this valuable opportunity is November 30, 2025. Candidates will be selected based on their fulfillment of the specified eligibility criteria, ensuring that support reaches deserving students.
